Senior Analyst, Human Capital Management

Location: Work from home in Virginia, United States

Salary: $130,000–$150,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead HR data migration projects from legacy systems to modern HRIS platforms.
• Design data mapping, cleansing, validation, reconciliation, and integration strategies across HRIS, payroll, benefits, and learning systems.
• Coordinate with technical teams to implement automated data flows and maintain data integrity and compliance.
• Transform workforce data into executive narratives, dashboards, visualizations, and actionable recommendations.
• Analyze turnover, retention, engagement, diversity, workforce planning, and talent analytics metrics.
• Partner with HR, IT, business leaders, vendors, and technical teams; document workflows and train HR users.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in HR analytics, HRIS, or HR systems implementation.
• Experience leading data migration projects involving HRIS, payroll, or benefits systems.
• Strong knowledge of HR data structures, employee lifecycle data, system integrations, and data flows.
• Proficiency with Tableau, Power BI, or similar data visualization tools, plus advanced Excel or Google Sheets and SQL knowledge.
• Experience with data transformation, data quality management, storytelling, and presentations.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience with data fabrics, Microsoft 365, Power Apps, Power Automate, or advanced Power BI analytics.
• Experience with Oracle HCM, Workday, UKG, ADP, ServiceNow HRSD, or other HR service delivery platforms.
• HR or data analytics certifications, including PHR or SHRM-CP.
• Knowledge of HR compliance, GDPR, CCPA, and data privacy regulations.
• Master’s degree in a related field.
