HR Systems Analyst III (Workday)

Location: USA - Remote

Salary: $99,800–$137,300 per year, depending on experience

What you will do

• Design, configure, test, and optimize complex Workday business processes, condition rules, calculated fields, validations, alerts, notifications, eligibility rules, and EIB templates.
• Own complex configuration workstreams and assess end-to-end impacts across assigned Workday modules.
• Lead semi-annual Workday release impact reviews, remediation, regression testing, and UAT coordination with COEs and HR Operations.
• Partner with Business Analysts on requirements and functional design, and with Workday Engineers on integrations, technical feasibility, security architecture, and migration processes.
• Maintain configuration integrity, documentation, decision logs, standards, and controlled migration processes.
• Mentor HR Systems Analyst II employees and provide escalation support and guidance to Tier 1 and Tier 2 HR support teams.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of hands-on Workday HRIS experience with deep knowledge of Workday configuration and module capabilities.
• Expertise with Workday business processes, calculated fields, condition rules, EIB, and security fundamentals.
• Experience with Workday release cycles and regression testing.
• Ability to diagnose system issues, identify root causes, and deliver scalable solutions.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with workflow or project tools such as Visio, Jira, MS Project, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
