Senior HRIS Analyst (Workday)

Location: Remote, with a hybrid option from the Mexico City office. If based in or near Mountain View, California, in-office work is required 2 days per week. Remote candidates may be located in PT or CT time zones.

Salary: $184,000–$226,000 annual base salary for the Mountain View location, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end Workday Payroll configuration, including pay groups, hirify.globalgs, deductions, payroll business processes, and payroll-impacting workflows.
• Configure and optimize Core HCM, security frameworks, Time and Absence, and related employee-lifecycle processes.
• Design scalable integrations and cross-system workflows that improve data consistency, access governance, compliance, and operational efficiency.
• Build advanced Workday reports, dashboards, calculated fields, and workforce insights for People and Finance stakeholders.
• Lead system enhancements, releases, testing, documentation, issue resolution, and Workday roadmap prioritization.
• Partner with People Operations, Accounting, Payroll, Total Rewards, Finance, IT, and external Workday support teams.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on Workday Payroll configuration and administration experience.
• 5+ years of HRIS experience with deep Workday expertise.
• Strong experience with Workday Payroll, Core HCM, Business Process Framework, Security, Advanced Reporting, and Calculated Fields.
• Experience translating business needs into system requirements, implementations, workflows, test strategies, and scalable solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, technical, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to work remotely from an eligible PT or CT time zone, or attend the Mountain View office 2 days per week when based nearby. Visa sponsorship and immigration support are not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with Advanced Compensation, Time and Absence, Talent/Performance modules, or Workday Extend.
• Experience in global and matrixed organizations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, or an equivalent field.
• Experience designing workflows across recruiting, onboarding, career development, and off-boarding.
