Senior Manager IT Infrastructure

Location: US MA; hybrid office and remote environment. Periodic travel to company sites, data centers, or supplier locations may be required, with possible on-call availability outside normal business hours.

Salary: $124,300–$211,700 annually, plus potential discretionary annual bonus and long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Develop and execute a multi-year enterprise infrastructure roadmap aligned with business, architecture, cybersecurity, and financial priorities.
• Own the availability, performance, scalability, security, and supportability of cloud, network, server, storage, identity, collaboration, backup, disaster recovery, and endpoint services.
• Lead operational excellence through service objectives, monitoring, incident response, problem and change management, capacity planning, patching, and lifecycle management.
• Drive cloud adoption, automation, standardization, modernization, technical-debt reduction, resilience, and cost optimization.
• Maintain tested backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity capabilities, including recovery objectives and remediation exercises.
• Lead infrastructure teams, budgets, vendors, contracts, governance, documentation, stakeholder communications, and executive incident coordination.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, operations, engineering, or service delivery across cloud and on-premises environments.
• 5+ years of people-management experience with responsibility for talent development and team leadership.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, or comparable cloud platforms and hybrid infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of networking, compute, storage, virtualization, identity and access management, enterprise collaboration, backup and recovery, monitoring, endpoint management, and infrastructure automation.
• Experience with regulated and controlled environments, complex infrastructure transformations, IT service management, budgets, contracts, and external providers.

Nice to have

• ITIL, Microsoft, AWS, Veeam, Linux, PDQ, or VMware certifications.
