Senior Legal Operations Manager (AI)

Location: Santa Clara, California, or Plano, Texas, United States; most teams work from the office full time.

Salary: $121,000–$195,800 per year, with potential bonus and restricted stock units.

What you will do

• Lead the evaluation, implementation, maintenance, and business-as-usual operation of AI-enabled legal technology, including CLM, e-billing, legal intake, chatbots, and privacy systems.
• Develop annual legal technology roadmaps, prioritize initiatives by business value, and create business requirements, standard operating procedures, process maps, and architecture documentation.
• Coordinate with IT, Information Security, Procurement, Finance, Legal stakeholders, and other cross-functional partners.
• Design change management programs, communication plans, training materials, content banks, and FAQs to increase tool adoption.
• Define operational KPIs and build dashboards using in-system reporting, Tableau, and Google Cloud Platform data.
• Support legal department budgeting, technology intake, renewals, and subscription management.

Requirements

• 7+ years of global Legal Operations experience in a large, fast-paced technology enterprise.
• Experience leading AI implementation, CLM redesign, self-service legal intake, chatbot optimization, or privacy systems.
• Proven technical project management experience delivering complex cross-functional programs with Agile methodologies.
• Expertise in change management and adoption of legal technology such as Ironclad, SimpleLegal, or AI-enabled workflows.
• Hands-on experience with dashboards, data hygiene, data visualization, budgeting, timelines, and subscription lifecycles.
• Bachelor’s degree and excellent communication skills are required. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Advanced project management certification such as PMP or Agile.
• Familiarity with Ironclad, SimpleLegal, Legora, Gemini, and Salesforce.
• Experience leading legal technology projects at a global in-house Fortune 500 company.
• Participation in the legal operations community, such as CLOC or ACC.
