Deputy Program Manager (Cybersecurity)

Location: Arlington, Virginia, United States; work in the Fairfax, VA office

Salary: $190,000–$210,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead day-to-day execution across technical delivery teams supporting the DHS Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation program.
• Oversee engineering tasks, service-level agreements, critical-path items, production operations, release management, and security engineering.
• Manage technical staffing, resource estimation, onboarding, accountability, and performance across a team of more than 200 people.
• Optimize systems engineering practices and implement process improvements with team leads.
• Support program management and SAFe delivery, including SELC coordination and compliance.
• Coordinate with customers and teams on delivery frameworks, project portfolios, risks, opportunities, changes, and resources.

Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive cybersecurity and program leadership experience.
• Experience starting and managing multiple high-visibility, high-impact IT or cybersecurity projects.
• Experience managing projects for the federal government.
• Success leading cross-functional, matrixed engineering teams in large and complex application environments.
• Strong complex problem-solving and team leadership abilities.

Nice to have

• PMP, CISSP, or SAFe certification.
• Experience with product release planning and management.
• Experience leading FCEB cybersecurity programs.
• Top Secret clearance.
