Program Manager (Cybersecurity)

Location: Reston, Virginia; hybrid with 3–5 onsite days and on-call requirements. The role requires U.S. citizenship, an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, and the ability to obtain and maintain a CBP Background Investigation and EOD.

Salary: $170,000–$225,000 per year. A $10,000 signing bonus is available for candidates with an active CBP BI after 90 days under standard terms.

What you will do

• Lead an enterprise cybersecurity program delivering and developing 24/7 CSOC services for federal customers.
• Provide strategic leadership, operational oversight, technical consultation, and customer-facing program management.
• Review CSOC metrics and cases, develop operational workflows, and optimize performance across multiple shifts.
• Research, evaluate, and design security technologies, infrastructure improvements, and technical cyber solutions.
• Serve as a technical cyber subject-matter expert, onsite task lead, and primary contractor contact for government personnel.
• Support proposal development, RFP/RFQ responses, new engagement transitions, process documentation, mentoring, and recruiting.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and eligibility to work in the United States are required.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and the ability to obtain and maintain CBP BI and EOD.
• Active PMP certification and CISSP certification in good standing.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, STEM, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field.
• At least seven years of experience leading cybersecurity projects and programs, including incident response, insider threat investigations, digital forensics, and cyber threats.
• Working knowledge of enterprise operating systems, Active Directory, network protocols, internet standards, Zero Trust, and information assurance.

Nice to have

• Experience leading programs covering cyber operations, security engineering, and information assurance.
• Experience implementing countermeasures and mitigating controls in enterprise network environments.
• Experience acting as a subject-matter expert across multiple related tasks or programs.
• Active CBP BI for eligibility for the signing bonus.
