Deputy Program Manager (Cybersecurity)

Salary: $145,000–$185,000 per year

What you will do

• Serve as Deputy Program Manager and technical Cybersecurity Operations Center lead for federal cyber defense programs.
• Provide security event monitoring, advanced analytics, cyber hunting, incident response, digital forensics, vulnerability assessment, and cyber intelligence support.
• Maintain 24x7x365 operational coverage and optimize workflows across multiple shifts.
• Develop and analyze operational metrics to improve CSOC performance and reduce organizational risk.
• Act as technical subject-matter expert, onsite task lead, and primary customer point of contact.
• Support program transitions, solution and proposal development, process documentation, recruiting, mentoring, and technical writing for RFPs and RFQs.

Requirements

• At least five years of direct cybersecurity operational and program management experience.
• At least seven years of professional experience with incident response, insider threat investigations, digital forensics, and cyber threats.
• At least five years of recent hands-on experience with host- and network-based monitoring, anomalous activity analysis, forensic tools, intrusion detection, SIEM, endpoint detection and response, and security operations ticket management.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, STEM, or cybersecurity.
• TS clearance or SCI eligibility, plus successful completion of a program-based background investigation.
• One required certification: CISSP, CISSP-ISSMP, CISM, or PMP.

Nice to have

• GCFA, GREM, GCIH, OSCP, GPEN, GFCE, or equivalent certification.
• Experience creating insider-threat dashboards, reports, and workflow diagrams.
• Experience with data collection, chain of custody, incident escalation, threat mitigation, and mentoring junior personnel.
