Software Engineer (Integration)

Location: Hybrid/onsite in Fairfax or Springfield, Virginia, with a minimum of three business days onsite per week; travel to mostly CONUS locations may be required for less than 10% of working time.

Salary: $100,000–$150,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise software and application integration solutions.
• Analyze system flows, data usage, requirements, and operational processes to determine feasible solutions.
• Design software tests and testing strategies to improve development and deployed operations.
• Develop scripting solutions that automate manual processes and support throughput demands.
• Analyze development and service issues, recommend process improvements, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Collaborate in an Agile, multidisciplinary environment while meeting delivery timelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related IT field, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance and pass a CI Poly.
• 2–5+ years of experience designing, coding, deploying, and supporting enterprise-level systems.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages, including Python, C++, and JavaScript.
• Experience with brownfield applications, DevSecOps frameworks, architecture and data-flow diagrams, containerization, orchestration, Linux CLI, and scripting.
• Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and stakeholder collaboration skills in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Nice to have

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Experience with distributed systems, data pipelines, React, Ansible, Airflow, Django, Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, AWS, or Azure.
• Experience with computer vision, computer graphics, homography, GIS data, CUDA, or machine learning algorithms.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level I certification and experience supporting Department of Defense organizations.
