Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, Battery (EV)

Location: Garden Grove, California, United States; onsite manufacturing role.

Salary: $160,000–$200,000 USD annually.

What you will do

• Develop long-term advanced manufacturing strategies for EV production.
• Lead the design, commissioning, and ramp-up of manufacturing systems for batteries, drivetrains, and electronics.
• Manage complex cross-functional programs from R&D prototypes through scalable mass production.
• Evaluate and implement advanced equipment, automation, robotics, and smart manufacturing systems.
• Define quality standards, lead root cause analysis, and drive corrective actions and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor engineers, build high-performing teams, and champion lean, sustainable, data-driven operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s or Ph.D. is strongly preferred.
• 8–10+ years of advanced manufacturing engineering experience with a strong battery background.
• Experience leading large-scale manufacturing projects from concept to full-scale production.
• Knowledge of battery assembly, thermal management, high-precision electronics production, and General Assembly for EVs.
• Expertise in automation, robotics, AI-driven manufacturing systems, CAD/CAM, simulation software, MES, and ERP systems.
• Strong leadership, project management, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
