Studio Engineer (Automotive)

Location: Novi, Michigan, United States; 4–5 days per week in the office with regular in-person meetings and occasional company travel

Salary: $130,000–$160,000 annual base salary, plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus

hirify.global is developing electrified, digitally enabled pickup trucks and rugged SUVs, including all-electric and range-extender powertrains.

What you will do

• Collaborate with designers, engineers, and modelers to develop initial sketches and renderings for electric vehicle exterior and interior components.
• Translate conceptual designs into 3D models and detailed technical drawings for prototyping and manufacturing.
• Use CAD software to refine designs for industry standards, regulations, and manufacturing feasibility.
• Conduct feasibility studies covering aerodynamics, structural integrity, weight distribution, and material selection.
• Create 2D and 3D visualizations, renderings, and animations to communicate design intent to stakeholders.
• Work with suppliers and manufacturing partners to deliver production-ready components while maintaining cost and quality targets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Automotive Engineering, a related field, or equivalent certification and proven experience.
• 8+ years of experience as a Studio Engineer or in a related automotive or transportation role.
• Proficiency with industry-standard CAD software such as CATIA for 3D modeling and technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of automotive design principles, materials, manufacturing processes, and industry regulations.
• Ability to translate design concepts into practical solutions while balancing functional requirements, ergonomics, and aesthetics.
• Ability to work onsite in Novi, Michigan, 4–5 days per week and attend in-person meetings and events.
