Intelligence/Targeting Mission Integrator (AI)

Location: Onsite in Alexandria, Virginia, United States; ability to work onsite at Camp Smith, HI is required. Travel under 50% to CONUS and OCONUS customer sites and government installations is required.

Salary: $180,000–$200,000 per year.

What you will do

• Translate intelligence support-to-targeting and operational targeting workflows into technical, functional, data, and system requirements.
• Lead mission integration for entity-level target development across BTD, ITD, ATD, electronic target folders, and targeting remarks.
• Prioritize capability increments, user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, and backlog items with Government leads.
• Coordinate intelligence, targeting, fires, effects, platform, data, engineering, and Government stakeholders across DoD and the Intelligence Community.
• Integrate authoritative data sources, third-party platforms, command-and-control systems, fires systems, and operational tools, including Maven Smart System dependencies.
• Develop test scenarios, mission-representative evaluations, user-acceptance activities, governance materials, and mission-impact measures.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Active DoD Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in intelligence studies, national security, engineering, information systems, computer science, data science, or a related discipline; substantial relevant operational experience may substitute.
• 6+ years of relevant operational, planning, or headquarters staff experience, including action officer, planner, or effort-lead experience.
• Experience supporting the Joint Targeting Cycle and translating intelligence and targeting requirements into executable technical or capability-development activities.
• Knowledge of DoD and Intelligence Community operations, target development, intelligence reporting, electronic target folders, targeting remarks, and BTD, ITD, and ATD processes.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree and Agile or PMP certification.
• Experience with MSS, OMS, MARS, ETF repositories, JTCG/ME, targeting systems, weaponeering, joint fires, maritime targeting, or effects synchronization.
• Knowledge of AI, machine learning, generative AI, agentic systems, natural language processing, entity extraction, knowledge graphs, data fusion, and decision-support technologies.
• Experience with data standards, APIs, system interfaces, interoperability frameworks, cloud data platforms, containerized environments, or DevSecOps.
• Experience supporting CDAO evaluations, DIA Quality Assurance Framework processes, or Joint Staff J2 JTIM workflow validation.
