Technical Project Manager (AI & Cloud)

Location: Multiple locations; federal delivery environment

Salary: $180,000–$200,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead full-lifecycle technical delivery from discovery and design through build, release, and operational transition.
• Translate customer and mission objectives into roadmaps, integrated plans, prioritized backlogs, acceptance criteria, and measurable outcomes.
• Partner with technical leaders on architecture, dependencies, tradeoffs, and decisions balancing speed, quality, security, and reliability.
• Build and direct cross-functional teams across engineering, architecture, product, security, data, and operations.
• Manage scope, schedules, resources, budgets, risks, issues, dependencies, assumptions, and change control.
• Maintain delivery visibility through Jira, Confluence, dashboards, KPIs, forecasts, customer demonstrations, retrospectives, and release-readiness activities.

Requirements

• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
• 10+ years of technical project or program management experience delivering complex IT and software initiatives across the full lifecycle.
• Experience leading concurrent workstreams and highly technical teams.
• Technical fluency across software development, systems integration and APIs, cloud platforms, data and AI, cybersecurity, DevOps or SRE, and production operations.
• Command of Agile, Lean, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methods, including estimation, release planning, change control, and operational readiness.
• Strong consulting, stakeholder management, communication, executive presence, judgment, and people-centered leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, business, or a related field.
• PMP or Agile certification, such as CSM, PMI-ACP, or SAFe.
• Cloud or service management certification, such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or ITIL.
• Federal consulting or contract delivery experience.
