Staff Technical Program Manager (AI)

Location: Hybrid role based in the Menlo Park or Bellevue, United States offices, with regular on-site work

Salary: $194K–$278.3K annually

What you will do

• Define and own program strategy for high-impact initiatives across application surfaces, developer tooling, AI-powered experiences, and the underlying platform.
• Lead multi-team programs across Applications, Notebooks, Native Apps, Drivers, AIML, Developer Platform, and partner organizations.
• Shape multi-quarter roadmaps, clarify tradeoffs, and create execution plans with engineering, product, and technical leadership.
• Drive decisions on shared APIs, integration points, and developer-facing launches across product surfaces.
• Design operating mechanisms and AI-assisted workflows that improve engineering velocity and delivery predictability.
• Represent programs to executive leadership and mentor other technical program managers.

Requirements

• 8+ years of technical program management experience, ideally in a cloud software company, with ownership of complex multi-team programs.
• Experience aligning teams with competing priorities and influencing across Engineering, Product, Design, and Go-to-Market without direct authority.
• Strong technical depth in system design, dependencies, modern cloud-native development, CI/CD, release management, and API-first development.
• Experience with developer-facing products or platform engineering and shipping developer experiences at scale.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with engineers, executives, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience delivering AI/ML or generative AI products, including LLM-powered features, agentic applications, or AI developer tooling.
• Familiarity with retrieval-augmented generation, agents, model evaluation, inference cost tradeoffs, and AI-assisted workflows.
• Experience with Snowflake, data platforms, Streamlit, Notebooks, Native Apps, Cortex, Spark, SDKs, or drivers.
• Experience building data-driven program health mechanisms or working in a high-growth technology company.
