Strategic Finance Lead (AI)

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco or New York City, United States

Salary: $190,000–$240,000 per year plus equity. USD salary ranges apply only to U.S.-based positions.

What you will do

• Develop customer economics and investment recommendations for customer acquisition, retention, enterprise pipeline, and marketing spend.
• Use CAC, LTV, and payback analysis to evaluate investment returns.
• Partner with Marketing and Growth leaders to scale initiatives, identify constraints, and define required resources.
• Build financial models, growth analyses, spending forecasts, and commitment tracking.
• Improve measurement and attribution by connecting marketing activity to business outcomes.
• Own emerging strategic questions across go-to-market activities and provide clear recommendations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in strategic finance, business operations, growth analytics, or a related field.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with a deep understanding of customer economics and investment returns.
• Ability to work directly with data, build financial models, and use AI tools to accelerate analysis while validating outputs and assumptions.
• Experience making growth investment decisions across consumer or self-serve acquisition and enterprise demand generation.
• Track record of independently identifying growth opportunities, developing actionable analysis, and implementing decisions with cross-functional partners.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust, challenge assumptions constructively, and work across teams.
