Technology Strategy Director (AI, Data & Technology)

Location: Denver, CO or Austin, TX, United States. Hybrid work with in-person attendance required at least three days per week at a hirify.global office or client site; travel up to 40%.

Base salary: $211,646–$264,558 per year.

What you will do

• Lead strategic assessments of client technology environments using recognized maturity models and best practices.
• Develop technology recommendations, implementation roadmaps, and business cases for strategic initiatives, process improvements, and IT transformations.
• Lead application package selection, solution design, implementation planning, and enterprise cloud assessment engagements.
• Assess technology organizations and align capabilities with enterprise strategy, cost structures, and operating models.
• Analyze quantitative and qualitative data, build financial models and complex budgets, and present findings to senior audiences.
• Support proposal development and business development, contribute to service offerings, and coach team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 9 years of related experience in strategy consulting or technology-related engagements.
• Experience assessing IT organizations, including capability-to-strategy alignment, cost structures, and operating models.
• Experience with package selection, implementation planning, application architecture, strategic IT assessments, enterprise cloud assessments, and roadmap development.
• Strong business writing, communication, executive presence, and presentation skills.
• Availability for hybrid work with in-person attendance at least three days per week and travel up to 40%.

Nice to have

• MBA or MIS degree.
• Experience serving mid-sized to large public and private organizations.
