Project Manager (IT-IA-IM Prog/Proj Mgr II) (Government)

Location: Santa Maria, California; full-time onsite at a government customer site in Lompoc, California, five days per week. No relocation is offered.

Salary: $89,200–$203,000 yearly.

What you will do

• Gather stakeholder requirements, conduct technical assessments, and analyze requests for change across network and systems services.
• Coordinate multiple projects and cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions within customer scope, budget, quality, and service-level objectives.
• Translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications through functional, timeline, cost, and requirements-allocation analysis.
• Develop project roadmaps, monitor KPIs, apply agile project management methods, and prepare executive-level status reports.
• Lead risk, issue, and opportunity assessment and mitigation across multiple service areas.
• Maintain technical, project, governance, reporting, correspondence, and standard operating procedure documentation.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
• At least 10 years of combined work history and education experience.
• Strong project coordination, organization, attention to detail, stakeholder communication, presentation, and prioritization skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with strong data analysis capabilities.
• Ability to work in cross-functional environments and comply with government security procedures and clearance-management requirements.
• Onsite availability in Santa Maria/Lompoc, California, five days per week; no relocation is offered.

Nice to have

• Network IT infrastructure experience, including connectivity, switches, and routers.
• CAPM certification or commitment to obtain it within six months; PMP certification is highly preferred.
• Client relationship management and stakeholder engagement experience.
• Expert Microsoft Office proficiency, including Visio and project management tools.
• Experience with Atlassian Confluence and HelpNow or ServiceNow.
