Project Manager - Remote Boston MA Area (PMO)

Location: Remote, Boston, Massachusetts area; travel to customer, partner, team, or business locations may be required, up to 50%

Salary: $95,000–$130,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage billable customer technology projects from startup through closure using PMO methodologies, governance processes, and enterprise tools.
• Define project objectives, scope, deliverables, milestones, acceptance criteria, roles, and responsibilities with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain project plans, schedules, forecasts, status reports, RAID logs, meeting records, and other delivery documentation.
• Lead client-facing kickoff, progress, governance, and closeout meetings while communicating project status, decisions, risks, and impacts.
• Coordinate internal teams, vendors, partners, and customer resources across complex engagements involving multiple technologies and locations.
• Monitor project financials, billing, revenue, margin, resource consumption, scope changes, approvals, and operational closure.

Requirements

• Four-year college degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• At least four years of project management experience with customer-facing responsibility for external projects in IT professional services, consulting, or technology delivery.
• Experience managing complex projects with multiple workstreams, technologies, resources, vendors, or customer locations.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time and within budget while meeting customer expectations and business outcomes.
• Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, leadership, writing, presentation, negotiation, decision-making, and escalation-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, collaboration platforms, and project or portfolio management systems.

Nice to have

• PMP, CAPM, or comparable project management certification.
• Experience using ServiceNow for project, portfolio, resource, financial, or status management.
• Experience managing customer engagements valued at $500,000 or more.
• Experience with cybersecurity, cloud, data center, networking, data, or managed services engagements.
• Experience improving PMO processes, delivery methodologies, templates, standards, or operational maturity.
