ServiceNow Developer

Location: Hybrid in Norman, Oklahoma, United States; four days per week onsite at the USPS Maintenance and Technical Support Service Center and one day working from home.

What you will do

• Maintain the health, performance, reliability, and security of the ServiceNow platform.
• Configure and customize workflows, forms, business rules, reports, dashboards, portals, and applications.
• Manage user roles, permissions, access controls, system logs, and technical troubleshooting.
• Implement platform features, upgrades, integrations, and process automation in line with release schedules.
• Document configurations, processes, and procedures while supporting compliance and knowledge sharing.
• Provide technical leadership for platform design, optimization, tool evaluations, and system changes.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain a USPS Public Trust clearance and pass an in-depth background investigation.
• US Citizenship or Permanent Resident status with a Green Card is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related discipline.
• At least three years of experience in software development, system administration, or a related technical field.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow administration, custom workflows, scripts, portals, integrations, configuration, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in JavaScript with working knowledge of SQL, HTML, CSS, ITIL, ITSM, Agile practices, Azure DevOps, and government cybersecurity principles.

Nice to have

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification.
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification.
• ITIL Foundation certification.
• Experience supporting government agencies or contracts.
