Roadway Project Manager (OpenRoads)

Location: Columbus, Ohio, United States (hybrid)

Salary: $125,000–$195,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead design and plan production for design-bid-build and design-build highway and multimodal transportation projects.
• Provide engineering design, technical oversight, and project delivery support for transportation and public works projects in Ohio and other states.
• Review technical staff work and perform QA/QC of plans and specifications.
• Use OpenRoads Designer for roadway modeling, design development, and plan production.
• Mentor, train, and develop junior engineers and designers.
• Support proposal development, project pursuits, client engagement, and multidisciplinary coordination.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Ohio required.
• 10+ years of roadway design experience; ODOT or City of Columbus project experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in OpenRoads Designer and MicroStation.
• Working knowledge of ODOT standards, procedures, and project delivery requirements.
• Experience managing project tasks, schedules, budgets, and multidisciplinary teams, with strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
