Senior Project Manager (Telecommunications)

Location: Murfreesboro, Tennessee, United States. The role manages projects across the USA and Canada, works Monday–Friday from 8:00–17:00 with on-call responsibilities, and requires up to 5% travel.

What you will do

• Plan, estimate, resource, schedule, budget, and execute multiple telecommunications and infrastructure projects using PMI and PMO standards.
• Manage project scope, costs, profit, schedules, risks, issues, quality, reporting, and corrective actions.
• Prepare project roadmaps, requirements, work breakdown structures, cost estimates, milestone payment schedules, and communication plans.
• Lead customer reviews and act as the primary contact for project cost, schedule, technical performance, risks, and enhancements.
• Direct technical, professional, and administrative project resources across multisite deployments.
• Report program status to leadership and stakeholders while coordinating transitions into operations.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience managing telecommunications and infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of structured cabling, including Cat 5e, Cat 6, and fiber optic cable.
• Knowledge of telephony projects involving POTS, VoIP, and SD-WAN.
• Ability to manage 15 or more concurrent projects within budget across the USA and Canada.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, MS Project, PPM tools, ERP systems, Salesforce, workforce management, cloud technology, Visio, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Experience with client and internal teams at national scale, multisite deployments, stakeholder management, negotiation, risk management, and change leadership.

Nice to have

• Four-year college degree and/or military experience.
• PMP, Six Sigma, or Agile certification.
• Experience with PBX, Wi-Fi, network infrastructure, VoIP, SD-WAN, and POTS.
• Additional technology services industry experience.
