Senior IT Project Manager

Salary: $137,300–$145,600 annually

What you will do

• Lead the direction, coordination, execution, control, and completion of complex IT and business projects.
• Develop communication plans for project teams, customers, and executive sponsors.
• Build project schedules, identify critical paths and risks, and enforce delivery methodologies.
• Forecast and report project financials, resource utilization, and cost-to-completion projections.
• Manage funding documentation and collaborate with strategic sourcing teams on RFPs, MSAs, and SOWs.
• Facilitate project reviews, retrospectives, status reporting, executive reviews, and PMO process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 5 years of project management experience, including team development.
• At least 5 years of information technology experience with knowledge of applications, databases, networking, telecommunications, and security.
• Extensive knowledge of project management and systems development life cycles, including Agile, Iterative, and Waterfall approaches.
• Master-level proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with portfolio or program management software such as Clarity.
• PMP certification or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
