Senior Project Manager (ANS)

Location: Columbus, Ohio, United States; hybrid workplace with some in-person collaboration and project-site presence.

What you will do

• Manage contract administration, project scopes, compliance, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and track project budgets, review contractor proposals and pay applications, and negotiate change orders and claims.
• Establish project schedules, monitor milestones and critical-path activities, and create recovery schedules when required.
• Coordinate construction documentation, bidding, submittals, RFIs, change management, reporting, startup, and closeout.
• Communicate project status, financial performance, risks, and potential delays to clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
• Lead project staff, provide technical direction, manage risk mitigation, and oversee punch lists, final payments, and final project records.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, and/or engineering.
• 10+ years of experience overseeing and managing all phases of higher education institution programs or projects.
• 10+ years of experience across preconstruction, construction, and closeout phases, including problem-solving and decision-making.
• Ability to work on project sites, including standing, walking, climbing, lifting 40 pounds or more, using personal protective equipment, and working around extreme temperatures, noise, and fumes.
• Hybrid work requires some in-person time for collaboration and project delivery.

Nice to have

• OSHA 30 Hour Safety Training.
• Certified Construction Manager (CCM) and/or PMP certification.
• Experience with construction management software, Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, and Adobe.
• Strong written, verbal communication, and computer skills.
