Cloud Solutions Architect

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $140,000–$190,000 annually

What you will do

• Design and govern cloud-native architectures across compute, networking, data, identity, and security.
• Translate strategic business objectives into scalable, cost-effective cloud solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
• Partner with business stakeholders, security architects, and engineering teams.
• Lead architecture reviews and influence engineering direction.
• Produce formal architecture artifacts and present recommendations to senior leadership.
• Drive cloud migration, modernization, and platform consolidation initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in software engineering or solution architecture; the position lists 13+ years of overall experience.
• Deep expertise in cloud-native solutions on at least one major cloud platform.
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking, identity, security, containerization, serverless, and managed data services.
• Experience with architecture artifacts, architecture reviews, stakeholder facilitation, and senior leadership communication.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; new H-1B visa petitions cannot be sponsored.

Nice to have

• Multiple cloud architecture certifications.
• Multi-cloud or hybrid cloud architecture experience.
• Familiarity with TOGAF or other enterprise architecture frameworks.
• Experience in regulated industries and cloud compliance.
• Experience driving FinOps and cost transparency initiatives.
