Spinning Supervisor (Nights) (Manufacturing)

Location: St. Louis, Missouri, United States; on-site night shift from 6pm to 6am

What you will do

• Lead all spinning operations across multiple production areas during the fixed night shift.
• Supervise approximately 16 production technicians and working team leads.
• Coordinate staffing, work assignments, resources, production priorities, and shift handoffs.
• Monitor safety, product quality, process performance, and compliance with operating procedures.
• Respond to emergencies, incidents, process deviations, quality concerns, and equipment issues.
• Drive employee development, Lean Manufacturing, waste reduction, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of manufacturing experience with progressive leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
• Experience leading teams and making independent decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, organization, and prioritization skills.
• Commitment to workplace safety, operational excellence, and accurate documentation.
• Associate's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering Technology, Process Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.

Nice to have

• Experience in continuous manufacturing, hollow fiber spinning, or related process manufacturing operations.
• Knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality systems.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience supervising manufacturing teams in a 24/7 operation.
