Director, Technology Risk and Resilience

Location: Hybrid role ideally based in Lowell, Massachusetts, or Weston, Florida, United States; travel up to 20%.

Salary: $163,900–$225,000 base pay annually, plus potential performance-based bonus and restricted stock unit awards.

What you will do

• Plan, scope, and lead risk-based audits and advisory reviews across SaaS products, cloud environments, cybersecurity, engineering, software development, product and platform risk, operational resilience, data and privacy, AI governance, and technology transformation.
• Advise Product, Engineering, Security, Cloud, and business leaders by translating technical risks into clear business implications and actionable control insights.
• Provide technology risk and control consulting for significant initiatives, product changes, transformation programs, and emerging risks.
• Lead independent audit work supporting ISO 27001 and ISO 42001 certifications and related assurance requirements.
• Coordinate with Governance, Risk and Compliance, Enterprise Risk Management, and Third-Party Risk Management functions.
• Lead and develop an in-house team of approximately three professionals and coordinate strategic co-source resources.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in technology internal audit, technology risk and assurance, or consulting/advisory roles, including leadership responsibility.
• Significant experience assessing technology risks in SaaS environments.
• Ability to evaluate complex technology environments and communicate business implications to senior executives.
• Relevant certification such as CISA, CIA, CISSP, CPA, Chartered Accountant, or a comparable credential.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.
• Ability to work in a hybrid structure from Lowell, Massachusetts, or Weston, Florida, is preferred.

• Experience leading high-performing teams and developing team members’ skills and careers.
• ISO Lead Auditor certification or comparable experience with ISO-related assurance activities.
• Experience with cloud architecture, cybersecurity, software development, product risk, AI governance, or technology resilience.
• Executive-level communication skills and broad business acumen.
