Senior Manager, Security (SaaS)

Location: Remote - US West; role is limited to US locations

Salary: $204,500–$330,700 annual base pay depending on geographic zone, plus a 15% bonus target.

What you will do

• Lead the Product Security team and manage its work portfolio, staffing, priorities, and delivery.
• Build a risk-driven security operating model in which engineering teams own their security health while Security guides and validates.
• Automate and improve the routing, triage, and review of security findings and requests.
• Serve as incident manager of record for security incidents, including escalation, external communication, and post-incident review.
• Approve vendor and access decisions and cover the Director of Security’s operational responsibilities when needed.
• Publish monthly service-level metrics, quarterly executive security posture reports, and a risk register.

Requirements

• 5+ years of formal security or engineering management experience, including management of senior engineers.
• Experience moving a security function from a gatekeeper model to team ownership with measurable results.
• Experience managing SaaS security incidents end to end, including external communication.
• Strong security engineering background with the ability to review pull requests, threat models, and cloud findings.
• Familiarity with AWS security at scale and external audits such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, or FedRAMP.
• Excellent communication, metrics, technical judgment, and empathetic leadership skills.
