Spec Assign - LH Coordinator-1

Location: Charlotte, NC, United States; onsite at the hirify.global location five days a week

What you will do

• Dispatch transportation equipment according to the linehaul plan and schedules.
• Coordinate cargo shipments to maximize trailer volume while meeting delivery obligations.
• Enter dispatch events in the transportation management system and verify equipment locations through yard inventories and checks.
• Investigate and report schedule delays, accidents, missing equipment, and equipment failures.
• Implement contingency plans and coordinate with Safety and Maintenance on inspections, certificates, and DOT compliance.
• Review trailer load condition reports and communicate safety and roadside violation information.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• No prior experience required; dispatch experience is preferred.
• Must work onsite at the Charlotte hirify.global location five days per week.
• Ability to follow linehaul dispatch, safety, and Department of Transportation procedures.
