Transportation Coordinator (Customer Onsite - 3rd Shift)

What you will do

• Coordinate domestic and international shipments with customers, carriers, freight forwarders, warehouses, and third-party logistics providers.
• Manage inbound and outbound warehouse transportation, trailer capacity, pickups, deliveries, and shipment status updates.
• Drive carrier and service provider performance for hub-and-spoke locations and monitor transportation KPIs, metrics, and OTIF results.
• Analyze transportation data, carrier costs, and operational performance to improve warehouse efficiency and identify corrective actions.
• Resolve shipping and receiving bottlenecks and coordinate issues among customer stakeholders, vendors, carriers, and onsite teams.
• Act as the liaison between Google’s warehouse vendor and carrier and communicate requirements for warehouse operations and critical shipments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 1–2 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or transportation preferred.
• Experience with logistics software and systems, including ERP, transportation management systems, and warehouse management systems.
• Knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs procedures.
• Effective communication, negotiation, analytical, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Ellenwood, Georgia, during the 11:00 p.m.–8:00 a.m. third shift.
