Field Service Technician II (Trace and X-Ray Technologies)

Location: Hebron, Kentucky, United States. Remote workplace designation, with daily travel to customer locations in and around Hebron, including the airport.

Salary: $74,360–$100,540 per year, plus a business profit plan and benefits.

What you will do

• Install, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot field equipment using Trace and X-Ray technologies.
• Respond to daily service needs, provide customer training, and deliver technical support.
• Document inspections, maintenance, repairs, open issues, and customer reports.
• Order, install, and return parts while managing repair cycle time.
• Assess equipment performance and recommend modifications or improvements.
• Maintain tools and test equipment, participate in site surveys, and support service sales opportunities.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree, related electrical/electronic/mechanical trade certification, military training, or equivalent related field-service experience.
• At least three years of experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical and electronic systems or equipment in the field.
• Computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office and specialized software.
• Strong communication, customer service, organizational, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel at short notice, work overtime or non-Monday-to-Friday hours, lift and carry up to 80 pounds, and work safely around industrial equipment.
• Must obtain Sensitive Security Information access, pass TSA vetting and a federal background investigation, and comply with U.S. export control and security regulations.
