SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting Manager (AI)

Location: Hybrid in Sunnyvale, California, with three office days per week

What you will do

• Support periodic SEC filings and external reports, including financial statements, footnotes, and management discussion and analysis.
• Research US GAAP standards, SEC regulations, and complex business transactions; document conclusions in technical accounting memos and journal entries.
• Monitor SEC and FASB developments, communicate accounting and disclosure impacts, and support related process and system improvements.
• Maintain reporting controls, participate in SOX implementation, and support procedures for financial reporting accuracy.
• Coordinate with business operations, accounting, tax, treasury, legal, HR, stock administration, and external auditors.
• Perform stock compensation accounting for stock options, restricted stock, and ESPP awards, including valuation, monthly expense calculations, and disclosures.

Requirements

• 5+ years of combined Big 4 accounting and SEC reporting experience at a public company.
• CPA license or equivalent qualification; active license preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SEC regulations, financial reporting, and disclosure requirements.
• Experience with Workiva and NetSuite, plus public-company experience in the technology industry.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, communication, project management, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work from the Sunnyvale office three days per week in a hybrid arrangement.
