Revenue Accountant (AI Legal Tech)

Location: New York City, United States; work is on-site in the Union Square office.

Salary: $123,250–$145,000 per year, plus equity.

What you will do

• Prepare month-end revenue and commissions journal entries, reconciliations, flux analyses, and management reporting.
• Review customer contracts and order forms, identify performance obligations, and establish revenue schedules under ASC 606.
• Analyze pilots, ramps, discounts, contract modifications, and other non-standard terms.
• Maintain revenue schedules and reconcile contract, billing, Salesforce, NetSuite, and general ledger data.
• Prepare audit support schedules and respond to auditor requests.
• Identify data issues and coordinate corrections with Billing, Sales, RevOps, and Finance teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in Big Four audit or revenue accounting at a SaaS company.
• Working knowledge of ASC 606 and strong Excel skills with large data sets.
• Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce or similar ERP and CRM systems.
• High accuracy, attention to detail, sound judgment, and clear communication with non-finance teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA qualification or progress toward one is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in New York City.

• Experience with multi-entity or international revenue.
• Experience with usage-based or multi-year SaaS contracts.
