Summer 2027 Underwriting Undergraduate Intern

Location: Remote, United States; in-person collaboration at the Camp Hill office may be available for candidates within commuting distance. Applicants must be authorized to work independently in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Support the day-to-day operating objectives of the underwriting department.
• Assist with financial analysis, risk assessment, pricing strategies, research, and analytical reporting.
• Participate in underwriting projects, business initiatives, and process improvement programs.
• Support the planning and implementation of initiatives, including AI-powered automation efforts.
• Develop recommendations and alternative proposals to support informed business decisions.
• Communicate with colleagues, clients, and internal or external business partners to resolve operational issues.

Requirements

• Current full-time or part-time enrollment in an accredited bachelor's degree program.
• Studying Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Finance, Business, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence/Automation, Data Analytics, or another quantitative discipline.
• Ability to communicate effectively and perform entry-level professional work under supervision.
• Ability to conduct research, prepare reports, and contribute to projects and initiatives.
• Independent authorization to work in the United States is required.
