Spring 2027 Underwriting Undergraduate Intern

Location: Remote work from Pennsylvania, United States. Applicants must be independently authorized to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Support day-to-day underwriting operations and assigned business objectives.
• Assist with risk assessment, financial analysis, forecasting, reporting, and research.
• Evaluate healthcare products, member populations, pricing strategies, financial performance, and risk management practices.
• Participate in projects, programs, and initiatives that support business performance and strategic growth.
• Prepare recommendations and alternative proposals for management review.
• Communicate with colleagues, clientele, and internal or external stakeholders to resolve operational issues.

Requirements

• Full- or part-time enrollment in an accredited college or university baccalaureate program.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Independent authorization to work in the United States is required.
• Ability to perform entry-level professional work under supervision and receive training and mentoring.
• Ability to participate in research, reporting, projects, and related enrichment activities.
