Finance Transformation Manager (Versant Media)

Location: Hybrid in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, United States; office attendance is generally required at least three days per week.

Salary: USD 100,000–125,000 yearly, bonus eligible.

What you will do

• Lead finance transformation roadmap activities and coordinate workstreams across Finance, Technology, business units, system integrators, and external partners.
• Translate accounting, reporting, and control requirements into scalable ERP processes, master data, reporting designs, and operating models across Record to Report, Procure to Pay, and Order to Cash.
• Support ERP design workshops, process reengineering, organizational structure and chart of accounts design, workflows, data conversion, validation, reconciliation, testing, cutover, and stabilization.
• Embed financial reporting, US GAAP, SOX, internal controls, close processes, reconciliations, consolidation, and audit-readiness requirements into future-state solutions.
• Manage scope, deliverables, quality expectations, adoption measures, and transformation KPIs throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Identify and adopt AI, automation, analytics, and agentic solutions within Finance processes in partnership with enterprise AI governance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in finance transformation, controllership, finance systems, accounting operations, or related roles, including leadership responsibility in a large, complex organization.
• Significant experience leading enterprise ERP or finance-system transformation programs; SAP S/4HANA or another modern cloud ERP platform is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end finance processes, master data governance, US GAAP, public-company reporting, internal controls, and SOX requirements.
• Experience with process redesign, data conversion and reconciliation, testing, cutover, organizational change management, post-go-live stabilization, and third-party implementation partners.
• Experience managing BPO or managed-services relationships and applying AI, automation, analytics, or emerging technologies within Finance.

Nice to have

• CPA, MBA, or a comparable advanced finance, accounting, or technology credential.
• Experience in media, entertainment, digital, advertising, networks, streaming, technology, or another complex high-volume industry.
