Electrical Engineer (Industrial Manufacturing)

Location: Evansville, IN, USA; on-site. Occasional project-related travel is required.

Salary: $70,000–$95,000 USD per year, plus performance-based bonuses.

What you will do

• Oversee electrical engineering projects from conceptual design through completion.
• Design medium- and low-voltage power distribution, grounding, facility lighting, and lighting controls.
• Design and coordinate special systems, including fire alarm, data and communications, and CCTV.
• Conduct site visits, client meetings, and field data collection.
• Perform electrical engineering calculations using engineering software platforms.
• Coordinate with OEMs, vendors, contractors, customers, and internal design teams while maintaining project documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience designing electrical systems for industrial manufacturing facilities and utility infrastructure.
• Professional Engineer license or willingness to pursue PE licensure.
• Working knowledge of electrical codes and standards, including the National Electrical Code (NFPA 70).
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, communicate effectively, and manage changing project requirements.
• Ability to work on-site in Evansville, Indiana, with occasional project-related travel.

Nice to have

• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit.
• Experience with electrical engineering software such as SKM or EasyPower.
