Product Design/Development - Associate Researcher

Location: WHBC - Winton Hill Business Office, United States; onsite 5 days per week from 8am–4pm

Salary: $64,600–$74,300 per year

What you will do

• Conduct hands-on laboratory and sensory experiments to assess product benefits, performance, risks, and quality.
• Plan and execute qualitative and quantitative consumer studies, including wear observations, returned product analysis, show tests, and product diary studies.
• Build product prototypes for consumer show tests and in-use studies in partnership with product development and design specialists.
• Document, analyze, and summarize technical and consumer data to support product decisions.
• Develop test protocols and methods relevant to consumer perception of product benefits.
• Collaborate across analytical, process and formulation, materials science, design, and global R&D functions.

Requirements

• Associate degree in science, engineering, or a related field, or a high school diploma with relevant experience and interests.
• Two-year or four-year degrees in non-engineering disciplines are also considered.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and SharePoint.
• Availability to work onsite at the Winton Hill Business Office 5 days per week, 8am–4pm.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn hands-on research skills.

• Prior experience in a science role or laboratory work.
