Co-op, Biologic Therapeutics Discovery and Engineering (Antibody Discovery)

Location: Cambridge, MA, United States; onsite laboratory role

What you will do

• Support antibody discovery, characterization, and optimization campaigns.
• Perform in vitro experiments to biophysically characterize antibody drug candidates.
• Help nominate lead biologic drug candidates for therapeutic research programs.
• Validate clinical targets for cell-specific drug delivery.
• Contribute experimental results to drug discovery milestones within a cross-functional team.

Requirements

• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old before the scheduled start date.
• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited community college, college, university, skills program, or apprenticeship.
• Pursuing a PhD or Master's degree in biochemistry, immunology, microbiology, biological or biomedical engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related field.
• Experience or familiarity with cell culture, sterile technique, molecular cloning, PCR, qRT-PCR, DNA/RNA extraction, ELISA, MSD, and flow cytometry.

Nice to have

• Experience with SPR or BLI using Biacore or Octet instruments.
• Experience executing Python libraries, running scripts in an HPC environment, or training machine learning models with PyTorch, scikit-learn, or TensorFlow.
• Experience with AI/ML de novo protein design using open-source tools.
