2nd Shift Production Supervisor I (Photonics Manufacturing)

Location: Billerica, Massachusetts, United States; onsite second-shift manufacturing role. Must be a US citizen. Relocation is not associated with this position.

Salary: $86,000–$121,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.

What you will do

• Supervise second-shift production activities to meet production, quality, cost, and product availability goals.
• Plan schedules, staffing requirements, and personnel development for assigned production areas.
• Track work-in-progress and component inventory, production activity in the ERP system, and real-time output metrics.
• Coordinate group leaders and cross-departmental activities, communicating production and component issues to planning, purchasing, management, and support teams.
• Maintain manufacturing documentation, train employees on updated procedures, and conduct performance reviews.
• Ensure GMP, manufacturing guidelines, process improvement, and workplace safety requirements are followed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience.
• At least 10 years of manufacturing experience, including 5 years with supervisory or lead responsibilities.
• Must be a US citizen; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Experience leading employees, coordinating work, organizing priorities, and making solutions consistent with organizational objectives.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related computer applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Windows, and Visio.
• Ability to work onsite in Billerica, on the second shift, lift 25+ pounds, and communicate with employees and business associates in person and by phone.
