Learning & Development Advisor

Location: Irwindale, California, US; hybrid work with required reporting to an SCE facility and residence in California. The role includes up to 25% travel and field work throughout the SCE service territory. Relocation does not apply.

Salary: $114,400–$171,600 per year

What you will do

• Lead enterprise learning and development initiatives across leadership, employee, system, technical, safety, and regulatory training.
• Consult and coach team leads on talent development, engagement, retention, and leadership.
• Deliver internal training sessions and create presentations, knowledge resources, and other learning materials.
• Manage training projects and learning activities, coordinating with client training leads and stakeholders across functions.
• Analyze learning activities and assess program effectiveness using defined metrics and reporting methods.
• Oversee instructional designers through analysis, design, development, implementation, delivery, and evaluation.

Requirements

• Seven or more years of experience in curriculum and instructional design, training program implementation, and learning initiative management.
• Strong facilitation, communication, organizational, interpersonal, project planning, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience developing and deploying training programs and consulting with management on training initiatives.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, deliver results, build teams, negotiate, influence, and manage stress.
• Must work and reside in California and report to an SCE facility on designated days.
• Ability to travel and work in the field for up to 25% of the time is required.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in business.
• Strong experience with the ADDIE instructional design model.
• Experience automating processes and resources.
• Experience in leadership, employee, technical, safety, or regulatory compliance training.
• Experience working with relevant technology and innovation.
