Senior Program Manager, Training Development (Command Center)

Location: Coppell, Texas, United States; hybrid work with at least 3 days per week in the office

Salary: $104,000–$166,000 per hour for roles based in Coppell, TX

What you will do

• Own the Command Center training portfolio, including onboarding, refresher training, remediation, train-the-trainer programs, and qualification checkpoints.
• Direct instructional developers and establish consistent instructional design and trainer-qualification standards across sites, shifts, and employers.
• Build curricula from controlled SOPs and work instructions, maintaining version control, change alignment, and audit readiness.
• Partner with Command Center leadership, Safety, and Product to convert software changes, alert updates, thresholds, and role redesigns into training.
• Apply human-performance principles such as cognitive load, vigilance, workload, and alert design to remote monitoring training.
• Report qualification status, time-to-competency, and coverage gaps in weekly operational performance reviews.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or training program management, including 3+ years owning training for a safety-critical operational population.
• Experience building qualification or certification programs from zero where completion authorizes independent work.
• Experience maintaining curricula against controlled documentation, regulatory standards, and frequent operational changes.
• Experience directing instructional developers or contractors and influencing manager- and director-level stakeholders without direct reporting authority.
• Working fluency with LMS administration, compliance reporting, Workday Learning or equivalent, and ADDIE, SAM, or a similar methodology.
• Ability to work in the hybrid Coppell, Texas environment with at least 3 days per week in the office.

Nice to have

• Experience designing training for remote monitoring, dispatch, control-room, or command-center roles.
• Background in regulated operational qualification, including aviation, rail, maritime, utilities, nuclear, emergency dispatch, or autonomous vehicles.
• Knowledge of human factors and alert design, Kirkpatrick Levels 3–4 evaluation, or operational performance metrics.
• Experience supporting multi-site launches, train-the-trainer handoffs, or training third-party and customer-employed staff.
