Senior Learning Developer (SaaS)

Location: Bay Area, California — hybrid. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Salary: $75,000–$107,200 annually, plus eligibility for annual bonus compensation.

What you will do

• Design and develop product training curricula for instructor-led, virtual, web-based, and other digital learning formats.
• Partner with subject matter experts and stakeholders to translate product and business needs into clear, accurate learning content.
• Create interactive tutorials, course modules, certification materials, simulations, knowledge checks, and assessments.
• Test, evaluate, and maintain learning materials for technical accuracy and instructional quality.
• Improve curricula, development processes, learning tools, and delivery practices while sharing expertise across the team.

Requirements

• Strong applied knowledge of instructional design and learning principles, practices, tools, and standards.
• Experience developing learning solutions, curricula, digital learning modules, certification materials, or comparable educational content across multiple formats.
• Experience translating complex information and business needs into clear learning requirements and deliverables with subject matter experts and stakeholders.
• Ability to independently deliver moderately to highly complex work in a software, SaaS, technology, insurance technology, or comparable environment.
• Experience using online learning development tools to create interactive learning experiences, assessments, and knowledge checks.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in instructional design, learning, or a related discipline.
