Executive & Corporate Communications Partner (Space Technology)

Location: San Carlos, California or Seattle, Washington, United States. The role is subject to ITAR export-control requirements and requires U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residence, protected-individual status, or eligibility to obtain the required authorizations.

Salary: $135,800–$153,473 annually.

What you will do

• Build and lead communications roadmaps for the CEO and executive team.
• Develop executive narratives, talking points, briefings, presentations, and preparation plans for interviews, podcasts, speaking engagements, and public appearances.
• Own corporate communications, including press releases, media statements, company announcements, and internal messaging.
• Manage social and organic channels such as LinkedIn, X, and YouTube, along with the company website and other digital properties.
• Build relationships with reporters and editors across space, technology, business, and policy media.
• Provide communications guidance during sensitive, rapidly evolving, or crisis situations.

Requirements

• 3 or more years of experience in executive communications, corporate communications, journalism, speechwriting, public affairs, or a related field.
• Experience advising founders, chief executives, or other senior leaders and preparing them for media interviews and public appearances.
• Exceptional writing, editing, interviewing, message development, and editorial judgment skills.
• Experience managing social media accounts and producing press releases, company announcements, and internal communications.
• Ability to understand complex technical subjects and communicate them accurately.
• Must meet applicable U.S. ITAR authorization requirements.

Nice to have

• Background in speechwriting, journalism, public policy, or long-form editorial work.
• Experience developing the public profile of a founder or senior executive.
• Familiarity with technology, business, space, or policy media.
• Experience working with external communications agencies and media partners.
• Curiosity about spacecraft, computing infrastructure, and the emerging orbital economy.
