Public Relations Lead (AI)

Location: Hybrid work with required remote and in-office work at the Menlo Park, California office, United States

Salary: $122K–$160.6K annually

What you will do

• Own PR programs that showcase customer success, source stories, build campaigns, and secure earned media coverage.
• Support executive thought leadership by translating company strategy into compelling external narratives.
• Lead PR strategy for emerging and growth markets, including international media relations, agency management, and stakeholder coordination.
• Develop press releases, bylines, media briefs, and reactive statements that explain complex technical concepts through clear business-focused stories.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing, Customer Marketing, Sales, Investor Relations, and executive leadership on high-value story opportunities.
• Build AI-powered workflows for media monitoring, reporting, content development, and PR operations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in public relations, communications, or a related field in B2B technology, enterprise SaaS, or a relevant agency environment.
• Experience owning PR programs end to end, from strategy through execution and measurable results.
• Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, including the ability to translate technical product narratives into business outcomes.
• Experience managing media relationships across trade, business, or international outlets.
• Experience building AI-assisted workflows or integrating automation tools into daily work.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience managing PR agencies.
• Experience with international or emerging-market PR.
• Familiarity with media monitoring tools, CRM and reporting platforms, and PR measurement frameworks.
