Analyst, Finance and Capital Markets - Battery Storage

Location: Remote-first with work-from-home or hybrid options from offices in The Woodlands, San Francisco, Chicago, Seattle, Brooklyn, Denver, Palm Beach Gardens, and Birmingham. Preference for candidates based in or near San Francisco, Chicago, Brooklyn, or Seattle.

Salary: Starting at $105,000 annually, plus eligibility for an annual bonus.

hirify.global develops, finances, owns, and operates standalone battery storage projects that support cleaner and more versatile North American electric grids.

What you will do

• Support debt and tax equity financing transactions, including marketing materials, due diligence, consultant management, and financial modeling.
• Own project financial models across development, construction, and operations, including optimization and offtake bidding.
• Create dashboards, reports, and analytics for senior management and corporate investors.
• Analyze macroeconomic, ISO-level, tax policy, interest rate, and broader energy-sector trends.
• Perform economic analysis for PPA pricing, project design, equipment selection, and O&M contract negotiations.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external financing counterparties to manage deliverables through transaction closing and funding.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of project finance transaction experience, or a rigorous finance/technical degree with completed or planned financial modeling training.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with experience in project financial modeling.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, communication, interpersonal, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and tight timelines.
• Ability and desire to learn quickly and take on responsibility.

Nice to have

• Tax equity modeling experience.
• Experience in energy storage, renewables, or gas.
