Accounting Manager - Revenue

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end revenue lifecycle, including billing, collections, performance obligations, and deliverables tracking.
• Lead technical accounting for revenue recognition under ASC 606 and document complex, multi-element contracts.
• Build accounting and operational frameworks for new revenue streams and product lines.
• Replace manual revenue tracking with automated revenue recognition and operational systems, including AI-enabled processes.
• Partner with Sales and Legal during contract negotiations to address accounting risks before execution.
• Manage revenue-related audit inquiries and maintain internal controls and accounting policies.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience focused on revenue accounting and operations.
• CPA certification required.
• Deep knowledge of ASC 606 and US GAAP, including complex revenue transactions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Experience scaling manual processes into automated systems in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in media, technology, or advertising; digital media or influencer marketing experience is advantageous.

• Prior experience at a Big 4 accounting firm.
• Experience with NetSuite.
