Senior Software Engineer (Go)

What you will do

• Design and build backend services for a next-generation private markets platform using Go, AWS, Kubernetes, and Postgres.
• Own features and services end-to-end, including requirements, technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and production support.
• Define service boundaries, data models, integration patterns, API designs, and reliability and observability standards.
• Collaborate with product, operations, and engineering teams to model private markets workflows and integrate upstream and downstream systems.
• Improve engineering practices across testing, code review, design documentation, CI/CD, monitoring, and incident response.
• Use AI tooling for discovery, prototyping, implementation, test generation, and documentation while maintaining quality, security, and correctness.

Requirements

• Significant experience as a Senior Software Engineer or equivalent, building and operating backend systems in production.
• Deep experience with a modern backend language such as Go, Java, or C#, plus an interest in working with Go day to day.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, service design, and API design.
• Practical experience with relational databases, ideally Postgres, including schema design, performance, and migrations.
• Experience owning technical problems end-to-end, making design trade-offs, and delivering production software.
• Ability to evaluate and use AI tooling while applying sound engineering judgment.

Nice to have

• Experience in private markets, capital markets, asset management, or related financial domains.
• Experience in an early-stage or 0-to-1 environment.
• Experience with infrastructure as code, AWS platforms, document generation, e-signature platforms, regulated workflows, event-driven architectures, workflow engines, or Temporal.
