Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS)

Location: Hybrid role required in Birmingham, AL; Knoxville, TN; Columbia, SC; or Lafayette, LA, United States

Salary: $110,000 annually

What you will do

• Build and maintain enterprise CI/CD pipelines and optimize software delivery workflows.
• Develop reusable pipeline templates and standardized automation processes.
• Modernize legacy deployment processes using GitOps and cloud-native practices.
• Provision and manage cloud infrastructure with Terraform, Terraform Enterprise, and CloudFormation.
• Troubleshoot pipeline failures, deployment issues, and production reliability problems.
• Partner with development and operations teams to improve delivery speed, reliability, and consistency.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, CI/CD, or software engineering environments.
• Hands-on experience with GitLab, Jenkins, or similar enterprise CI/CD tools.
• Experience with Terraform or Terraform Enterprise and Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong cloud infrastructure experience, preferably with AWS.
• Experience with automation, scripting or programming, reusable CI/CD templates, and standardized delivery processes.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
