Staff Product Designer, Mobile

Location: United States, including Los Angeles, New York, and San Francisco; remote and hybrid work available

Salary: $200,000–$230,000 annually in the San Francisco Bay Area or Los Angeles

What you will do

• Set and continually raise the design bar for native iOS and Android experiences across the product.
• Own mobile patterns and craft standards used across product pillars and teams.
• Design deeply native experiences involving content capture, notifications, coaching, gestures, performance, and motion.
• Run cross-pillar mobile reviews to maintain a coherent product experience.
• Partner with Design Systems and Engineering to bring mobile patterns into production and prototype ideas to production fidelity.
• Raise the mobile design craft of other designers through influence rather than direct management.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in native mobile product design and fluency with iOS and Android conventions, gestures, motion, and performance-aware design.
• Significant experience shipping consumer mobile products at scale for diverse user bases, supported by a relevant portfolio.
• Staff-level scope, including setting direction, raising quality standards, and influencing teams without authority.
• Strong systems thinking and the ability to create scalable patterns across surfaces and teams.
• High collaboration, low ego, strong product judgment, and the ability to work beyond native mobile when needed.
• AI is expected to be part of the design workflow, with the ability to advance the practice.
