Founding Product Designer (AI)

Location: Hybrid role based in San Francisco, California, or New York, New York; in-office on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Salary: $175,000–$250,000 base pay per year, plus equity for full-time roles.

hirify.global is a Series A fintech startup building an AI-native disputes automation and fraud prevention platform for financial institutions.

What you will do

• Establish patterns for how people supervise, correct, and delegate work to AI agents in high-stakes financial workflows.
• Redesign provisional credit, evidence gathering, chargeback filing, and merchant response review flows to reduce resolution times.
• Observe dispute and fraud teams at banks and credit unions and translate their work into new agent workflows.
• Create keynotes, board presentations, and published perspectives explaining agentic transformation to financial institutions.
• Work with engineers and customers from problem definition through pixel-level product polish.
• Prototype rapidly in Figma, code, or AI tools.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience designing and shipping products, including enterprise, B2B, or workflow-heavy software.
• Experience designing enterprise workflows and complex, information-dense interfaces.
• Experience collaborating directly with engineers and customers in ambiguous environments.
• Experience building design systems and explaining their impact on team efficiency.
• Exceptional product craft, systems thinking, and decision-making communication.
• Strong written and visual storytelling, including presentations to customers, executives, or industry audiences; genuine experience integrating AI agents into design and product development.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services, payments, fraud, or another regulated domain.
• Experience as an early or solo designer at a startup.
• Ability to ship code or experience as a design engineer.
• Familiarity with fraud systems, payment infrastructure, or chargeback processes.
